Introduction to the Company

Established in 2005, the company has many manufacturing facilities in Himachal Pradesh. It is the No. 1 nutraceutical company in India. They specialize in end-to-end solutions, starting with research, right up to manufacturing and launching the product. They are experts in manufacturing best in class sports nutrition products, nutraceuticals, Ayurveda and more using state of the art technology. Catering to 350+ MNCs & Indian companies, they are India’s largest contract manufacturing company in India with a daily output of 180 tonnes of protein powder.

The Challenge

Despite having one of the largest protein powder manufacturing capabilities in the country, the brand had a limited presence in retail outlets and supermarkets. They needed a nationwide sales force that could take their product to distributors in every region in India.

Sales Force Hiring using MB HireMark™

The challenging task of hiring a Pan India sales force was undertaken. A number of candidates were selected after evaluating more than 50 parameters to determine their suitability and disciplined conduct in the market. Over 40 Sales Representatives, 5 Area Sales Managers, as well as higher level sales force such as National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and a Zonal Sales Manager were recruited, ensuring that they had the relevant experience. The recruited personnel were assigned territories based on their location.
A Sales Admin was appointed and trained to handle the daily route operations of the sales team and provide regular updates to management. This ensured that the team effectively followed their assigned routes for onboarding both distributors and retailers.
