Started as a small venture in Gujarat, the company has evolved into one of the world’s most reputed brands. Initially a manufacturer of clocks, it is now the largest clock producer in India. Over the years, it has grown into a trusted household name, offering a diverse range of home appliances.
The Challenge
The client is a household appliance brand, established in the 1970s. They had an extensive product range with high-quality products in several categories but did not have a structured presence all over India. They needed a dedicated sales force that would help them expand their distributor and retailer network in the country.
The Solution
MB HireMark™ created a comprehensive hiring strategy for the client, which focused on recruiting a sales force throughout India. This sales force would be responsible for securing new distributors and retailers, expanding the client’s network, and improving their product availability to customers.
Sales Force Hiring using MB HireMark™
The essential task of hiring sales force across India was conducted and several candidates were shortlisted. The selection process involved an evaluation of the suitability of candidates as well as their discipline based on more than 50 parameters. More than 90 Sales Executives and 10 Area Sales Managers who had relevant experience were recruited and assigned territories as per their location.
A Sales Admin was hired and trained to oversee the daily route activities of the sales team and generate regular reports to be sent to the management. This guaranteed that the team followed their routes as per their respective assignment and effectively added distributors and retailers to the network.
